Garlic with EDTA
Garlic is considered by many to be the wonder drug among botanicals. Worshipped by the ancient Egyptians, researched by Albert Schweitzer and labeled by the Soviets as the Russian Penicillin, garlic remains in high regard today by the countless number of people world-wide that use this incredible herb on a daily basis. Research has shown garlic can protect the body from various pollutants and heavy metals, but more important is its ability to prevent certain kinds of cancer. (not odor-free) While two Pure-Gar capsules contain about the same amount of garlic extract as five capsules of Kyolic Formula 102, scientific studies have shown that in several important ways the two different extracts are not comparable. For those seeking to lower cholesterol or blood pressure by taking garlic, however, Pure-Gar capsules would appear to be the least expensive way to accomplish this by providing sufficient amounts of garlic as supplement capsules. In addition to potent amounts of garlic extract, this Pure-Gar product contains the chelating agent EDTA (ethylene-diamine-tetra-acetic acid) for additional heavy-metal chelating and anti-thrombotic benefits.
