European clinical studies have recently verified the effectiveness of Feverfew for the relief of a migraine headache. The active ingredient in Migracare is parthenolide, a component of the herb feverfew, used for centuries in the treatment and prevention of migraine headaches. Nonstandarized feverfew supplements may prove an ineffective remedy in the treatment of a migraine. Migracare contains a standardized extract that ensures there are 600 mcg of the active ingredient parthenolide in each capsule, the highest of any on the market. The second leading brand contains only 400 mcg of parthenolide and the third only 150 mcg.
