European clinical
studies have recently verified the effectiveness of Feverfew for the
relief of a migraine headache. The active ingredient in Migracare is
parthenolide, a component of the herb feverfew, used for centuries in
the treatment and prevention of migraine headaches. Nonstandarized feverfew
supplements may prove an ineffective remedy in the treatment of a migraine.
Migracare contains a standardized extract that ensures there are 600
mcg of the active ingredient parthenolide in each capsule, the highest
of any on the market. The second leading brand contains only 400 mcg
of parthenolide and the third only 150 mcg.

FEVER FEW (Tanacetum parthenium) Its main uses are for headache, migraines
and arthritis. This herb has undergone extensive scientific investigation.
70% of the patients in these studies report fewer attacks of migraines
and less painful attacks. Researchers believe that Feverfew prevents
the spasms of blood vessels in the head that trigger migraines. Feverfew
also relieves the inflammation associated with arthritis. Other benefits
of Feverfew include: relief from nausea and vomiting; more restful sleep;
improvement of digestion; relief from asthma attacks; relief of dizziness,brain,
