From Herbal Descriptions by Truman Berst: #3654 CHICORY ROOT (Cichorium intybus) Wild chicory, Succory, Ju Qu Appetizer, cholagogue, digestive, diuretic, tonic. Chicory is very useful for upset stomach and for gout, rheuma tism and joint problems where uric acid deposits are suspected. In combination with Dandelion, Olive oil and Flax oil it is an excellent gallbladder cleanser including gallbladder stones.

Traditional Historical Uses
Soothes an upset stomach, good as a gallbladder tonic, helpful for gout, joint stiffness, externally for boils, sores, poison ivy, and sunburns. Has a calming effect.

Ingredients
Chicory Root, R/O Water, 12-24% Alcohol.

Methodology
Use 6-12 drops in juice, water, under the tongue or as desired. May be taken 3 times daily. Shake well. Store in cool dark place. Keep out of reach of children.
