Figwort is an anti-inflammatory, diuretic, and stimulant.

From Herbal Descriptions by Truman Berst: #3263 FIGWORT (Scrophularia nodosa) Its most notorious use is for all cutaneous eruptions, abscesses, wounds, eczema, scabies, tumors, and rashes. It is used as a fomentation for sprains, swellings, inflammations, diseased areas, scrofulous sores, and gangrene. The European peasantry people also used the bruised leaves for burns. Figwort is said to have an effect on the entire body. It helps to soothe the digestive system by providing hormone-like substances into the body, and it is also cleansing to the kidneys. It can be used as an effective pain killer if nothing stronger is present. Other indications include: circulatory disorders, varicose veins, toothache, high blood pressure, and as a skin medication.

Ingredients
Figwort, R/O Water, 12-24% Alcohol.

Methodology
Use 6-12 drops in juice, water, under the tongue or as desired. May be taken 3 times daily. Shake well. Store in cool dark place. Keep out of reach of children.
