Sanicle is an astringent and expectorant.

From Herbal Descriptions by Truman Berst: #3172 SANICLE (Sanicle marilandica) Sanicle is often used in combination with other herbs for blood disorders. Internally, it is used for ulcers, hemorrhage, excessive menstrual flow, chest and lung congestion, leucorrhea, diarrhea, syphilis, and gonorrhea. Externally, it is used as a gargle for mouth ulcerations and sore throat.

Methodology
Use 6-12 drops in juice, water, under the tongue, or as desired. May be taken 3 times daily. Shake well. Store in cool, dark place. Keep out of reach of children.
